Ms. Aktara Begum Dulee, Senior Diet and Nutrition Consultant of Green Life Hospital Ltd, Dhanmondi, Dhaka has more than fifteen years of experience in different Hospitals and Consultation Centers in Bangladesh.

She has completed her Master's degree in Food & Nutrition Science department from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. She has accomplished comprehensive training In-Nutrition & Diet Therapy Courses from Diet Counseling Centre, Dhaka, Bangladesh. She got scholarship from Seva Foundation, USA and Fellowship in Orthoptic from Nepal Eye Hospital, Nepal. She is the founder and executive member of the Association of Nutritionists and Dieticians for Social Service, Bangladesh (BANDESS)

Ms. Aktara has qualified and well-versed knowledge to set clear adjectives and provides guidance and instruction to the patients regarding nutrition and how it affects their bodies. She supports the patients in creation full and personalized Nutrition plans that promote healthy lifestyles. As a Diet & Nutrition Consultant she evaluates the direct needs of the patient by assessing their health and exercise levels, sleep and food habits; advised and suggested positive alternations in nutrition to address the patient's dietary restrictions and clarified information to the patient and explains the effects of nutrients. She measures people's needs using the scientific method and determines the most suitable nutrition plans for the patients. She counsels different types of patients e.g. Diabetes mellitus (DM), Nasogastric feeding (NG feeding),Chronic kidney disease (CKD), Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA). etc

She was interested in public health, actively involved and conducted several research on Diet and Nutrition topics in Bangladesh alike- "Dietary Behavior and Lifestyle of the elder population of selected Areas" and "Nutrition Knowledge of Bangladeshi Practicing Physician". She has some publications in daily newspapers and an online portal. She goes to make awareness of balance diet and Nutrition issues and advises through electronic media regularly.
