Professor Dr. Md. Kamrul Hasan (Milon), graduated from Dhaka Medical College in 1996. He joined in Medical officer of (Surgery) Shaheed Sohorawardy Medical College and Hospital in 1997.

He was obtained in MS Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery (CV and TS) from the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Medical University (BSMMU) in 2008. He was late joined Professor of cardiac surgery of National Insinuate of Cardiovascular Disease and Hospital (NICVD) in 2014.

Dr. Kamrul Hasan worked with National Insinuate of Cardiovascular Disease and Hospital (NICVD), for over 16 Years in various capacities and lastly held the position of Head of Cardiac surgery Department Management. He had around publications in his credit in international journals and had collaboration with various overseas universities and provided consultation in development.

He was also involved teaching and training Department of Cardiac surgery and trained the national and international fellows, mentored post graduate students MS (CV and TS) and supervised their thesis. He teaches students in NICVD as Professor of Cardiac Surgery and conducted Professional Exams as Examiner of Dhaka University and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Medical University (BSMMU), Shahbag, Dhaka.
