Dr. Farhana Munmun

Dr. Farhana Munmun completed her MBBS in 2010 and earned her MD in Transfusion Medicine from BSMMU in 2023, with outstanding results. Following her MD, she joined Green Life Hospital as a Consultant in 2023, where she has since been instrumental in transforming the Transfusion Medicine Department into one of the country’s most advanced facilities.

Dr. Farhana is a highly skilled consultant with extensive expertise in donor selection, care, counseling, and the management of donor apheresis. She has successfully performed Therapeutic Plasma Exchange (TPE) for patients with complex conditions such as Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS), Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP), Myasthenia Gravis, kidney transplant rejection, and liver failure. In addition, she has provided critical transfusion therapy to patients with thalassaemia, chronic anemia, and leukemia, diabetic foot ulcers and resolved challenging cases including Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA) and Bombay blood group discrepancies, and offers valuable medical consultation on transfusion therapy and clinical apheresis.

Her clinical achievements include managing stem cell collection for infertility patients, and employing Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy to treat severe bedsore patients.
