Dr. Md. Taifur Rahman is an accomplished cardiologist with over 24 years of experience in the field of cardiovascular medicine. He holds an MBBS degree along with D-Card and MD (Cardiology) qualifications, reflecting his strong academic foundation and clinical expertise.
He completed a one-year fellowship training in invasive cardiology from the National Heart Foundation, Mirpur, Dhaka, where he developed advanced skills in coronary interventions.
Currently, Dr. Rahman serves as an Associate Professor of Cardiology at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases, Dhaka, one of the leading cardiac care centers in the country. In his clinical practice, he specializes in interventional cardiology, with particular expertise in coronary angiography (CAG) and percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).
In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Rahman is actively involved in academic activities. He is dedicated to teaching and mentoring postgraduate trainees, including FCPS, MD, and D-Card students, contributing significantly to the development of future cardiologists.
Dr. Rahman has also
contributed to medical research, with five publications in the field of
cardiology, demonstrating his commitment to advancing cardiovascular science
and improving patient care.
