Prof. Md. Zahidul Islam completed his MBBS from Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College in 2001. He is a highly experienced ENT, Head & Neck Surgery Specialist with more than 18 years of clinical and surgical experience. He is currently serving as Professor and Unit Head (Blue Unit) at Dhaka Medical College.
Since 2007, Prof. Zahidul Islam has been providing comprehensive care for patients with diseases affecting the ear, nose, throat (ENT), head and neck. Throughout his career, he has served in several renowned medical colleges and hospitals across Bangladesh, gaining extensive expertise in managing both routine and complex ENT conditions.
To further strengthen his clinical and surgical skills, he has received advanced professional training in Chennai, Mumbai, Singapore, and South Korea. He has also actively participated in national and international scientific conferences, where he has presented multiple research papers, reflecting his commitment to evidence-based medical practice and continuous professional development.
His special areas of
interest include Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS), Head
& Neck Surgery, Laryngology (voice and throat disorders), and a
wide range of General ENT surgeries. He is dedicated to providing
patient-centered, advanced, and compassionate care using modern diagnostic and
