Dr. Farhanaz Sultana is a skilled and experienced Consultant Sonologist in the Department of Ultrasonography. With a strong academic background and hands-on expertise in diagnostic imaging, she is currently serving at BIHS General Hospital (a sister concern of BIRDEM) since 2017.

She graduated with an MBBS from Sir Salimullah Medical College in 2007. She completed a Certificate Course in Diabetology (CCD) from BIRDEM in 2010, and earned her Diploma in Medical Ultrasound (DMU) from the State University of Bangladesh in 2015. To further enhance her expertise, she completed a one-year Ultrasonography course at Sristy Institute in 2019. She received advanced international training in ultrasonography through the C – Ultra ( Netherland) program from the University of Twente, Netherlands in 2020, and successfully passed the ARDMS ( SPI & Obs- Gyn) exam under APCA( Alliance for Physician Certification & Advancement, USA).

Earlier in her career, she served as an Honorary Medical Officer in the Department of Radiology & Imaging at Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College in 2016.

Her dedication to sonology and patient care is reflected in her extensive training and years of service.
