Dr. Shaikh Muhammad Nuruzzaman graduated with an MBBS from Bangladesh Medical College Hospital, Dhaka in 2002, and completed his internship training in 2003. He began his career as a Lecturer in Anatomy at the same institution, where he was involved in teaching medical students, conducting anatomical research, and contributing voluntarily to the editorial activities of the Bangladesh Medical College Journal.
In 2006, he enrolled in the MD (Radiology & Imaging) postgraduate program at Dhaka Medical College under the University of Dhaka, completing the degree in 2011. During his post-graduate training, he was actively involved in various research projects in the field of diagnostic and clinical radiology.
Following his post-graduation, he joined Green Life Hospital Ltd. in 2011 and has since been serving in the Department of Radiology & Imaging. His responsibilities include the evaluation and interpretation of various CT scan and MRI studies.
Dr. Nuruzzaman also served as the Central Radiologist for the National Pulmonary Tuberculosis Survey in Bangladesh (2015), conducted by the World Health Organization (WHO) under the IEDCR, DGHS. In this role, he was responsible for central image review, reanalysis of field reports, and overall coordination of radiological aspects of the nationwide survey.
He is a life
member of the Bangladesh Society of Radiology & Imaging (BSRI)
and has served as an ex-member of its Scientific Committee, contributing
to research and workshops organized by the society. He is also a former member
of the editorial board of the Bangladesh Journal of Radiology & Imaging
(BJRI), where he actively participated in editorial and publication
activities.
