Assistant Professor Dr. Shahriar Rahman graduated from University of Dhaka in 2001. His specialist Orthopaedic training was in National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (NITOR) & Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU). He obtained his MS (Orthopaedics) in 2013. He was Fellowship trained at National University Hospital, Singapore, and also at Shanghai 6^th People’s Hospital, China.

Dr. Shahriar specialises in Musculoskeletal trauma with particular interest in complex Periarticular trauma, Scapular, Pelvic and Acetabular trauma. He is an experienced Hip & Knee replacement surgeon. He has significant experience in Limb reconstruction, Musculoskeletal tumor surgery, Sports injury, Paediatric trauma & Foot deformities.

He is actively involved in Undergraduate & Postgraduate teaching at Dhaka Medical College Hospital. He is also involved in Clinical and Basic Science Research.
