Assistant Professor Dr. Shahriar Rahman graduated from University of Dhaka in 2001. His specialist Orthopaedic training was in National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (NITOR) & Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU). He obtained his MS (Orthopaedics) in 2013. He was Fellowship trained at National University Hospital, Singapore, and also at Shanghai 6th People’s Hospital, China.
Dr. Shahriar specialises in Musculoskeletal trauma with particular interest in complex Periarticular trauma, Scapular, Pelvic and Acetabular trauma. He is an experienced Hip & Knee replacement surgeon. He has significant experience in Limb reconstruction, Musculoskeletal tumor surgery, Sports injury, Paediatric trauma & Foot deformities.
He is actively involved in Undergraduate & Postgraduate teaching
at Dhaka Medical College Hospital. He is also involved in Clinical and Basic
Science Research.
