Professor Dr. Monaim Hossen passed MBBS from Chittagong Medical College in 1989. He joined at government service in 1994, He obtained his MS degree in Orthopaedic Surgery in 2003.

He Completed AO basic & AO advanced training, and he specially trained on Arthroplasty from Delhi, India in 2012. He Achieved FACS from United States on October 2021. Acting as an Academic Director in NITOR. About 34 articles published in national and international journals. About two thousand Orthopaedic Surgeons working in Bangladesh, He has been elected as the President of Bangladesh Orthopaedic Society for the year 2022-2024. He was Secretary General of Bangladesh Orthopaedic Society in the year of 2014 - 2016. He is Council Member of APOA (Asia pacific Orthopaedic Association) and Member of Uro–Asian Spine Society.

He is life member of Bangladesh Orthopaedic Society, life member of Bangladesh Spine Society. He actively participated and presented articles in more than 20 countries of the world such as USA, Canada, France, South Africa, Thailand, Myanmar, India, Malaysia, Indonesia.
