Dr. Sifat-E-Rabbani graduated with an MBBS from Jahurul Islam Medical College in July 2010 and completed her internship in 2011. In 2013, she joined the Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) as a 32nd cadre officer.

Dr. Sifat underwent surgical training at Dhaka Medical College Hospital. In 2015, she was appointed as an Indoor Medical Officer in the Thoracic Surgery Department, where she worked under Prof. Kamrul Alam for 1.5 years. In 2017, she was promoted to Assistant Registrar in General Surgery, working under esteemed mentors such as Prof. Mostaque Hossain Tuhin, Prof. ABM Khurshid Alam, and Prof. Salma Sultana.

In 2021, she worked as an Indoor Medical Officer in the Department of Casualty. She successfully completed her FCPS in Surgery in July 2022. Subsequently, she served as an Assistant Registrar of Cardiac Surgery at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) for one year.

Dr. Sifat completed her MS in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery in July 2024. She is currently serving as a Junior Consultant in Surgery.
